Ideas For Blogs About PC Games

If anyone want a topic about a specific game that play or might want to play just send me a message or comment on here and as long as I have the game or an interest in trying the game I will write a blog post about what I think of the game.

Steam is currently the easiest way to find games and that is what I usually use. They have many games on steam that you might not find anywhere else.

Free games on Steam

There have been many free games on steam over the past few months. These games are actually really good games, some are still in beta while other are fully released games. Most of these games have in game items you can buy which is where the game makers get their money. These games can be really fun and since they are free, it allows people who don't have money to buy games or don't want to spend that much money on games to buy it.

This seems to be a new business model many game makers are trying to increase the amount of money they make. It seems if they get more people to get the game for free and if they buy in game items with real money they will spend more money overall than if the game was bought with no in game items. On the other hand those with out the need for all the little extra cosmetic items to buy in the game, they have more games they can enjoy with out having to spend any money.

Heroes And Generals

This is a new game available on steam for free. You can find the game on steam simply by searching for it. It is a free to play game.

The game basically allows you to battle from 2 different perspective, one as the hero on the battlefield fighting and dying to capture territory. The other is being the general commanding where to send the heroes to fight. More of a tactical side of things.

Playing as a hero you can pick from a few different classes: Infantry, Tank Crewman, Pilot, Paratrooper, or Recon.

The infantry is the 1st and most basic class you can pick, until you rank up you will be stuck with just infantry. Also each soldier you create will need to be ranked up to allow you to change that soldier's class. Infantry gives you access to all weapons that can infantry use including vehicles.

The other classes are also pretty self explainable. What I really want to say about this game is something many games don't have is the concept of limited supplies in the battles and the war overall.

This game is fought battle after battle to win the war. The war is between Germany and America. Each side has units that are called assault units that have a set amount of lives that can be used in battle. The type of unit it is picked by the general and sent into battle by the general as well. These units are than used in battle to try to capture or defend towns from the enemy. So therefore in a battle one side could have planes and the other side could not have any at all. Or in the middle of the battle the planes could arrive and than be used in the battle. These are just 2 of many different things that could happen in battle. It's all part of the bigger picture of winning the war. Units can be reenforced after a battle using funds the general has if the general wants to do that.

This game is still in beta, it has many other features they plan to add to the game. With all this being said it is worth taking a look at and giving it a try. It's free.

Make Over

I have taken over this blog to make the blog just about PC Games. The 2 subjects were not really going well together. A new blog about that may be created at a later time. For now though we will just post items about PC games.

Thanks.
